The new ELITE TH-100 'Entry Level Helo Sim'
ELITE have produced a new 'entry level' helicopter training device to satisfy rotary wing customers on a smaller budget yet want access to a specific helicopter based training device to meet their IFR training requirements.
Don't be fooled by the simplicity of the unit, it boasts full-featured avionics stack with G430 & autopilot, AS350BA flight dynamics, controls and switches. It is configured for EXTVS (external Visual System).
The CASA CAT B approved unit will have an instructor station and for around $20K for a turn-key product as seen in the pic below (excluding the plasma screen) reperesents excellent value that will be quickly recovered when compared to the cost of doing the time in an actual helo.
It is also planned to have the unit FSX compatible. You will be able to purchase the controls, seat and base seperately.
ELITE AP4000 G430 Module - Now MSFSX compatible
ELITE's Garmin 430 module is now compatible with Flight Simulator X. Check the downloads section to download the driver. This now makes the complete ELITE personal hardware range FS compatible to heighten your experience with MSFS.
Note: The 430 module only compatible with FSX.
Note: To use the 430 module with Microsoft Flight Simulator X, you must own a licensed copy of the GNS 430W XP or GPS WAAS Unlimited software by RealityXP.
